They actually have something in common. They are both tutorials from Pinterest that I tried out this week. I could have just named this post Pinterest Tutorials, but where's the fun in that?
Cookies first. I made these London Fog Cookies from Oleander and Palm. They were soooo good! The dough was very soft and it was challenging to cut out the shapes and I was wondering how they would turn out. They came out of the oven beautiful. As soon as you take a bite, they melt in your mouth and mmmmm! This recipe is definitely a keeper.
Now we come to the monkey. This tutorial from Craft Passion was pretty easy. It had to be if I wanted to do it. The only thing was that I didn't have anymore stuffing so I had to improvise. I stuffed it with my dog Macy's hair so he's a little hairy. I've gotten reactions from "eww!" to "cool!"... He is a very special monkey and his name is Maxwell.

Hawaiian Rolls
You know those King's Hawaiian rolls you find in the store. I looove those. Mom's been making a lot of bread lately so I decided to find a recipe for Hawaiian bread to make. I can't find the exact recipe right now but I'll link to it later. Mom thinks it needed some salt or something but I thought it was great!
Mommy said to go get an egg because we had run out. When I got to the nest, there was one hen on the nest. I tried to take her egg but she kept pecking me. I did eventually get the egg (by poking her with a stick until she left) but my hands where all pecked up. Then when mom put the egg over the rolls, she looked at the recipe and there were no instructions about putting egg over the rolls. Oh well. It looked good.

Chai Cupcakes
A few days ago I made some Chai cupcakes from a recipe book I got for my birthday. The only thing was I made a slight mistake. If you know me, you know I always make little mistakes during baking that always turn out delicious. It happened again. :) They were so good that I ate 5 out of the 12.
Mmmm! This recipe is definitely a keeper.
