2013 is here!

Happy New Year! You know when older people hear you grew 2 inches and they say, "Time flies so fast!"   I feel like that and I'm only 15! I hope you guys are all well, because I am fighting my third sickness this season. School started back up this week. Boom! All this work is piled on you. I'm doing well with that though. I'm very excited about the possibility of the Voices of Victory going to England this summer. It's not that far away. :) I hope y'all have a great productive year!

Welcoming a New Member

We have a new member here in the Bauder household. His name is Alfie (short for Alfred) and he's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He's Ben's Christmas present. Alfie is 11 weeks old and soooo cute!

Macy is a little jealous because Ben doesn't play with her now, but that just means I can spend more time with her. After all, she's my dog. :)
By the way, in case I don't post before Christmas: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Birthdays in March

Have you ever noticed how many birthdays are in March? I know a ton of people who have birthdays in March. Well, today is my birthday. I'm turning 14!! The best weather outside... not in most opinions! It's thundering and raining pretty hard. I think it just shows how magnificent and mighty my God is. Exactly a week ago was Ben's birthday. On the 13th? was my grandpa's (on my mom's side [Japanese]) birthday. I have a ton of friends whose birthdays were this month. My daddy came home from work this morning and made me my favorite breakfast: biscuits and gravy! And he bought Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the way home! How nice! What a wonderful family I have! Tomorrow's trip

Tomorrow, Mommy, Ben, and I are going with the Mainland High school students (because we're friends with the teacher that teaches Japanese to the high schoolers.) to the Japanese Morikami Museum and Gardens. It take 40 minutes to get to the school and 3 hours and 20 minutes of bus riding to get to the museum. That's 8 hours of riding! I'll be sure to bring lots of entertainment. Although most of it's probably going to be books. LOL I'll take pictures and show you guys as soon as I can. I can't post tomorrow because we're leaving at 6am and won't be back till estimated 8pm. I hope I get a chance (and have enough courage) to witness to some of the students. Leigha

Interesting Finds 2

More pictures...↓
I remember when I caught this bass. It was years ago but still a big enough event that I remember. Every time I talk of it Ben insists I didn't catch it and Daddy did. Well I still think I did. I hooked it. I hauled it in half way. I just got so tired that Daddy had to do the rest. It was 8lbs! I couldn't hold it because every time it jerked I dropped it so Ben held it for this picture.
3 or 4 years ago (not last time but the time before) when we went to Japan, we always went to the okonomiyaki restaurant. Every time Ben and I would always order Kodomo Biiru or Kid's Beer.
We visit my dad at work all the time and here is a picture of me right after we got home from Japan. My hair was so short!
This is my mom playing the Japanese shamisen at a party.

My mom's yummy tummy-filling creations.

Before we moved to the country, we used to live in the suburbs of Deltona. We had a pretty garden and clothes lines. One day me and Ben decided to set up house in the backyard.

This was my sunflower garden/house until mom sprayed it with weed killer accidentally and killed half of them. :(
Our garden April:
Our garden May:
June!!
A potted flower we had that later died.

We used to belong to a hunting lease.They had a big swing we used to play with.

There's a raccoon.

Wild hogs.

Armadillo.

Daddy, Ben, and I used to do karate. Here are some pictures.

All of us getting promoted. :)
Ben and Daddy entered a competition. They both got two 2nd place trophies.

This is the last picture↓ It was very sunny that day.

I love this song and thought I would share it with you.

Be Strong in the Lord

Be strong in the Lord, and be of good courage;
Your mighty Defender is always the same.
Mount up with wings, as the eagle ascending;
Vict’ry is sure when you call on His name.
Refrain:
Be strong, be strong, be strong in the Lord;
And be of good courage, for He is your guide.
Be strong, be strong, be strong in the Lord;
And rejoice for the vict’ry is yours.
So put on the armor the Lord has provided,
And place your defense in His unfailing care.
Trust Him for He will be with you in battle,
Lighting your path to avoid every snare. (Refrain)

P.S. I found this picture of me in my first and last year of pointe.
