Wilberta

     Since the last time I posted, we have been busy. Bacon accidentally stepped on two of her babies. One piglet had her foot stepped on, so we sprayed iodine on it and put her back. The other one was much worse. The skin on almost his whole side was ripped off and hanging there. It turned out that me and my daddy sewed him up. Now he has a lot of stitches! Since it's October, we named him Frankenpiggy, or Frank for short. This morning he was doing excellent and looks as if he's gonna survive.
     The first piglet I was talking about also happened to be the runt. She was not getting any bigger and seemed to be struggling to do easy things so we took her out and now we are bottle feeding her. Her foot is not doing well (the skin is falling off the leg). We are hoping it will get better. Mom named her Wilberta after Wilbur from Charlotte's Web.

     Our chicks are doing very well also. Their flight feathers and tail feathers are growing in.

If any of you didn't know (though I'm pretty sure you do), I'm homeschooled. I do virtual school (bio), co-op (English), and just regular home schooling (all the rest). At my co-op, I take English 1 during third (of four) period. During first period I help my mom in the nursery and during second period, I help Mrs. Erica in Preschool. Today I'm going to share with you some pictures I took of Oliver, the little boy in the nursery. He was adopted from Russia and we know his mother was half-Korean and it is assumed she was a prostitute. Thankfully, he is growing up in a good Christian home. :)

Welcoming a New Member

We have a new member here in the Bauder household. His name is Alfie (short for Alfred) and he's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He's Ben's Christmas present. Alfie is 11 weeks old and soooo cute!

Macy is a little jealous because Ben doesn't play with her now, but that just means I can spend more time with her. After all, she's my dog. :)

Grandma and Grandpa got here around 10:30am. We're going to have so much fun! Here is a picture of me and Daisy (my nickname for her is "Wiggle-dog" for a good reason!). It's the computer camera so the picture isn't very good but I still think it's cute. Ben was making fake sunburns with the Elmer's glue and I forgot to take it out of the way.

Just now, Ben and I were looking through tricks to teach Macy. Well, while we were trying to teach something else, we came up with this. Isn't it so cute? We called it "Monkey".

It was so cute I just had to show everyone.
